We’re looking for decent humans to enjoy our modest 3BR home on a beautiful acre of giant trees and veggie gardens in the stunning Dandenong Ranges outside Melbourne. The property feels private but there are nice neighbours if needed.
Very comfy king bed, gorgeous double sided fireplace. Central heating, solar panels but also on the grid. Large flatscreen, excellent wifi (perfect place to work from home).. 1km walk or drive to good local shops.
ANIMALS - Small, friendly, low maintenance dog - likes occasional walks but getting older, he’s happy to be patted and sleep most of the time! A bantam rooster and 8 hens in a coop. Food is in a treadle feeder so only needs filling every 3 weeks or so, water needs changing more regularly. They can be let out to free range if you’re outside and they are friendly but MUST be locked up at night (foxes). The coop is up a steep flight of garden steps from the house. Photo 4 is the chicken coop with sheds above, not the house!!
You may need to spray water into the small greenhouse at the end of the house once a week or so to keep the winter veggie seedlings alive, but no other gardening required.
It’s a beautiful private place to relax and unwind. We hope to find someone or someones who will love the clean air and peace as much as we do.
