About this house sitting position in Port Broughton

Is there anybody out there who is NOT heading North for Winter??
We are a female couple who would like either a mature female or couple - (husbands welcome :) ) - preferably but not essential, with their own motorhome or van.
Off street parking available.
We are one street away from the sea (inlet) and there is fishing from the jetty or if have a small boat even better. Close to nature/conservation areas. We have a small house and a with garden with two fishponds. There are two smallish dogs, an elderly budgie, frogs and two aquariums, one tropical the other cold saltwater to look after (low maintenance). The dogs are happy to be left at home with a bone if you want to go out for the day.
The garden is easy care, mainly Australian natives and a large number of potted succulents. We would only expect the dogs and menagerie to be looked after, the garden watered when it needs it - about once a week in cooler months and twice a week during Summer depending on rainfall. No lawns to mow! Plenty of time for the house sitter to do their own thing :)
Our town is quite small but has all amenities, Supermarket, PO, Bowling Club, Hospital, Doctors, Takeaways, Cafes and a great Pub. There is an outdoor gym on the foreshore and a Parks Run Club if you are into fitness. It is only 60 kms to Port Pirie and around the same distance to Kadina/Wallaroo. Port Broughton is close enough to Adelaide or Gawler (for instance) for a day trip. Port Augusta and the beautiful Arid Lands Botanical Gardens are an hour or so away north and well worth a visit.
PS We are on the NBN and WiFi Internet will be free.
Non smokers only please.

Reviews for Lynda

“We spent 6 months in the beautiful York Peninsula bayside town of Port Broughton looking after Lynda and Elizabeth's home for them. They had 2 outdoor fish ponds, an indoor tank of fish, and 2 tropical frogs all of which were easy to look after, the garden was pruned and kept neat for them which was a pleasure for us to do. 2 blocks walk to town meant not having to drive every where, the lovely foreshore has a long pier for walking & watching the evening sunsets. Although it was winter the town is protected by the bay so was not as cold as expected, their driveway is big enough for a car & caravan or motorhome. Being only a 2 hr drive from Adelaide we got to visit the city as well.
We absolutely enjoyed our time there and highly recommend this housesit.

Thank you, Susan and Max
