I'm looking for a cat/condo sitter for January 6 to January 19, 2019. Also for another two week period from January 27 to Feb 8, 2019.
We live in a newer condo close to the downtown in Calgary. We are near the Bow River and a five minute walk to St. Patrick's Island (condo faces the river and the island for beautiful views). Five minute walk to resturants and shops, also a short walk to East Village and Inglewood shops and services. The C-train station is at our front door, taking you downtown in about 4 minutes and connecting you with the rest of the city. The condo also has great views of the mountains through large south and west facing windows. The zoo is nearby, as is the Science Centre. Public library is one stop away on the C-train. Shopping in downtown Calgary is also one to two stops away on the train. If you prefer using Car to Go, there are many found in the surrounding neighbourhood. If you arrive with your own vehicle we can arrange heated underground parking.
If you are a downhill or cross country skiier, the mountain ski hills are easily accessible for a day's enjoyment. For hockey enthusiasts, the Calgary Flames home arena is a quick Ctrain ride or a 20 minute walk away across the river.
The bedroom has a King size bed and attached bathroom. Kitchen is fully outfitted for any cooking needs. Washer and dryer in unit. Condo is about 1000 sq ft. The building contains a well equipped gym.
Our cat requires company for at least a few hours a day. He gets lonely if left too much. He's well behaved but has been known to greet you at the door if you've been gone too long.
We would like the condo to be kept clean. Duties would include feeding the cat, cleaning the litter box, vaccuming and general cleaning to keep the cat hair in check. We have four plants that would need weekly watering too. We know all our neighbours, so if problems arise there would be someone to ask for help with the building facilities.
It is a secure building, and you must use a fob to enter and to use the elevators so no one gets to our floor unless they live there. There are only 6 condo units on our floor.
