Hello! I'm Charlie. I'm six-years old, and I love pets and cuddles. My favorite part of the day is walking with my human pack. I usually let them think they are walking me, but every once in a while I abruptly show them the beautiful things they are missing in life: stale bread, poop, bunnies, and water. I live with two other fluff balls. They spend most of their time outside or sleeping on the couch. Whenever new people come over, they tend to hide under the furniture, which I don't understand at all. They are missing out on opportunities for pets! I ignore the fish in the living room because I don't know they exist. I'm looking for a new friend (or friends!) so that I don't spend Christmas sad and alone.

Charlie and his kitty friends live in a two story row house in Maastricht,15 minutes by bike or by bus from the city center. The neighborhood is quiet, with a nice nature reserve close by where we enjoy walking the dog. The supermarket is about five minutes biking, and we have two bikes that you can use during your stay.
Maastricht is a cute, charismatic city with plenty of good restaurants. Over Christmas you can enjoy the Christmas market on one of the main squares, or you can catch a bus from the central station to Aachen to experience a German Christmas market just across the border. Belgium is also accessible via train. Charlie has travelled the country in buses, trams, and trains, and the cats have an automated food dispenser, so you would be welcome to take Charlie with you on a short stay outside of Maastricht.
We will be travelling for 2.5 weeks over the holidays (through Jan. 7). Ideally we would like someone for the entire time, but could possibly make something work if you had to leave a few days early. We are also happy to extend the dates if you would like to arrive a bit earlier or stay on a bit longer after we return.
House rules: Wild parties will upset the neighbors on the other side of the walls, so none of those. And no smoking inside (we have a small back garden instead), please and thank you.
