Looking for a mature single or couple to sit my 8 year old Westie and my home on Martha's Vineyard Island from approx. Feb 25th to April 4th while I am in Florida. I have a small post and beam house, 4 miles from town, 1/2 mile walk to a beautiful beach..located on a quiet wooded hillside with nature trails, ponds and serenity around it. Snow is an infrequent visitor here- but I can arrange to have the driveway plowed if needed. She has an electric fenced yard, but would be happy with 2 walks a day, car rides and TLC..a mature relaxed companion. My home has 3 bedrooms, a gas woodstove, Wi-Fi, cable, Smart TV. A car would be needed and your own travel here on the ferry paid by you.
I would cover the electic bill I paid last year [I am conservative with heat} but expect you to kick in what's above that amount.
If you are looking for a quiet retreat for a few weeks, with a good movie theater, nearby library, new museum, restaurants, local music ..this is an idylic retreat. I look for non-smokers with good character references .
