The perfect country getaway for a dog-lover to be my 'body double' and supervise 9 reasonably well-behaved teacup malteses, chihuahua crosses and a shih-tzu like they were you ownr! Accommodation is a 4 bedroom cottage modestly furnished situated on a remote rural property beside the Putty Rd, 2 hrs north of Sydney, 2.5 hrs to Newcastle and 45 mins south of Singleton, the nearest township for amenities and groceries. No gardening or chores required, just morning feeds and topping up water and biscuits, watching over the adults as they 'pop out' twice a day, no walks required, I'll make up for it when I'm back. Enjoy a slow combustion fire on chilly winter nights with a stockpile of firewood on hand or just flick on the air conditioners. NBN wireless internet available, TV and DVD player with loads of movie titles to choose from, and plenty of interesting books to satisfy book worms!
Pets & farm animals
Ted is my eldest male and my dearest companion, he is father to Molly Fox, Jasper, Saffy, Toby and Bella. Jessie is my eldest female, she is mother to Roger & Demi Moore just playful pups at 5 months. They're a chilled out and relaxed family EXCEPT when someone comes to the side or back gates, they raise the alarm in a cacophony of barking but can be easily settled down. I leave the television on when I'm not home to keep them company!
House Tasks
Morning feed (Aldi dog roll daily, chicken necks twice a week), topping up water bowl and biscuits daily, a brief morning "walk" for the adults. Clearing the drip tray where they're all trained to pee etc, every second day.
