Hello!
We live near Abergavenny on the beautiful Welsh borders (stunning countryside, lovely walks in the Black Mountains, good shops in Abergavenny and Monmouth, excellent local pubs!).
We are looking for someone lovely to look after our two beloved cocker spaniels for the dates above. Lucy is a very well-behaved, affectionate 3 year old. Mabel is and has bladder cancer but is still full of life. She needs medication once a day and has to go out more or less constantly, so there would be some mopping up of puddles involved. (Just to be clear: she can be left - we wouldn't need you to be there all day every day - but you just have to brace yourself for a bit of mopping up when you get home).
We put up with this because we love her and because she is still flourishing (eating well, enjoying short walks etc - at her most recent vet check-up, they said she was 'clearly a very happy dog') but her condition has made it harder for her to travel with us to stay with grandparents etc - hence the need for housesitters!
Our house is a converted barn, modern and comfortable, with underfloor heating downstairs and all mod cons!
