We are looking for a cat sitter for our two young cats in our non-smoking home. They are just over a year old and can be quite affectionate and like to play. We would like someone who can feed them in morning and at dinner time, scoop litter, refresh their water.
Come enjoy our three-story brick house with a newly-finished basement suite, 4BR, 3BA, light-filled house with central AC and a private backyard. Off-street parking is available in our driveway. The neighborhood is a quiet residential one, with streets nearby to get you quickly to Rt 66, GW Parkway, Lee Highway and Washington Blvd.
Music lovers can enjoy the Sonos speakers or piano. Art lovers may enjoy the various paintings and art work from Europe and Africa. A nice collection of English and French books awaits you. Our modern kitchen includes all the necessities: dishwasher, fridge, gas stove, espresso machine, coffee maker and more. We have a washer and dryer for laundry on the first floor of the house.
We maintain a small garden with fresh herbs, flowers and sometimes vegetables for you to enjoy, and for you to water and do some light weeding. If the weather isn’t too dry, we might ask you to mow once or twice if you are up for it. A few nearby neighbors can help out should you have any questions.
Local buses (just a block or two away) can take you to the Ballston metro (1 mile), Georgetown (3.5 miles) or Tysons Corner. Non-rush hour to downtown DC to Smithsonian Museums or White House is about a fifteen minute drive by car. The newly renovated Ballston Mall nearby has some great new shops and restaurants to enjoy. Various grocery stores are located 1-3 miles away: Harris Teeter, Giant, Safeway, Whole Foods, with a small convenience store and neighborhood Salvadoran take-out just up the street.
