I am looking to take a short break in early September for 7 days. I haven’t booked dates yet as I want to be able to fit in with a housesitter although I would prefer to go in the first week of September. I am looking for a caring person or couple to look after my elderly cat & my little home. My cat is Sooty. She is a small black short haired cat who is very shy around people she doesn’t know but she thaws after a few days. She is patient & very persistent when she wants something (usually food or a cuddle). She will follow you around meowing at the top of her lungs until you give in. In spite of all this she is my very loving little companion & I adore her. She is in excellent health also as I have her vet checked regularly. My home is a small two bedroom cottage. It is a dual occupancy & very private. I live in a very quiet area & I am just a 10 minute walk to the Woden Plaza which is a major shopping centre. There is very little maintenance required as I am getting a deck & pergola built out the back so the yard doesn’t really need any work done. I have a spare queen bed in the second bedroom if needed. I must ask though that there are no other pets brought to my home as my dear elderly cat can’t cope with other animals anymore.
