Our confirmed house sitter dropped out on us and we're going on holiday in 2 weeks! We live on an attractive 20 acre property in the Macedon Ranges just outside Riddells Creek with all of our animal family members. It's very quiet (on a dead end road), but still close to shopping, hikes, wineries, etc. and 45-60 minutes to the Melbourne CBD. Comfortable house with gas ducted heating.

We're going on a tropical holiday, so need someone to look after all of the pets - 2 Airedale Terriers, 4 100% indoor cats, 4 chickens and 2 horses. Would prefer someone with experience with horses, though ours are quiet and easy to feed and we have a very comfortable, well equipped new barn where the horses are fed, so no carting food out to paddocks or filling water troughs required. There will probably not be any rug changes required at this time of year, so it's just feeding twice a day and picking up overnight poo from the day yards in the mornings.

Our dogs are very sweet and well behaved, and the cats quiet and friendly. One of the cats is elderly, so he needs snacks a few times during the day whenever possible, as he struggles to keep weight on at his age. We are hoping to find someone who will be around for at least part of the day most days (doesn't work full time).

Plenty of room for a caravan, but would like you to stay in the house to keep the animals company.
