About this house sitting position in Pontville
We are looking for a mature-aged (retired), non-smoking, couple who are responsible and house-proud. Your accommodation will be a lovely, modern, self-contained Cottage - the only amenity it lacks is Internet. All we ask in regard to the Cottage is that you maintain it in the pristine condition in which you find it. Our main request is that you look after our large garden - it's rather extensive so there is plenty of grass to mow, weeds to pull and beds to water! Our "pets" are very low maintenance and easy to care for: we have a pair of Archangel pigeons (Fred & Gert) who come to visit when they want to be fed and a small flock of sheep who have their own paddocks full of grass (feeding the sheep is not essential as they can well and truly look after themselves) however, they are spoiled with regular treats (pellets, apples, carrots and the like)! We are rural but not at all isolated. The local Pub is very good and there is a very good café in nearby Brighton along with an IGA supermarket, Post Office, pharmacy, bakehouse, 3 petrol stations, Doctor, Dentist and even a pathology lab.
