About this house sitting position in Watson
We are looking for a housesitter to look after our dog, Floyd, while we are away over the Christmas period.
Floyd is a big softy - almost 3yo, a staffy x ridgeback, who enjoys 1-2 short walks a day and a snuggle on the lounge of an evening. He is fine to be left to himself during the day, if you want to get out and explore Canberra. He really just needs company in the evening, and overnight.
We have a couple of goldfish who will be looking for a daily feed. Otherwise, there is no other maintenance required.
Our unit is in Watson - a short drive to the city, the weekly Farmers Markets at Epic, the Dickson restaurant precinct and the Majura Park shopping precinct. The complex is right at the bottom of Mount Majura with walking trails to explore. It's a great opportunity for spotting birds, eastern grey kangaroos, swamp wallabies and echidnas. If you're feeling fit, you can walk over the mountain to Mount Majura Vineyard.
You will have wifi, a great tv with netflix, stan & amazon prime, a kingsize bed, a courtyard, bbq and covered carport.
