About this house sitting position in Dundonad

We have a beautiful, 3 bedroom home in Dundonald - Northern Ireland. It’s in a new development and we are a young couple with 2 dogs. Our smallest dog is a Lhasa apso who will go stay with parents when we go away. We also have a rescue German Shepherd - Poppy. She is 2 and had a terrible start to life, we’ve had her just over a year and have spent that time working very hard to get her happy, healthy and settled. 90% of the time she is settled and happy just pottering around the house, but she does live up to the breed’s stereotype of being anxious and wary when the door goes and she is also reactive when she sees other dogs on walks. We manage this well through walking her at awkward times, quiet places and have a field we pay to rent when she needs a really good run. We would love to meet someone with experience of the breed or anxious dogs that would be calm, patient and willing to help while we’re on honeymoon for 2 weeks in April 2020.

We have thought about placing her in kennels, but would love someone who could come stay and keep her routine. She can be left happily for up to 8 hours per day so plenty of time to explore Belfast which is easily accessible by a bus around 1 mins walk away.
