About this house sitting position in Kalbar

We are newly retired and have purchased a base for our life.
We travel regularly however and would like a house sitter to come and live in our home while we are away during Summer 2019
This placement for a month is primarily to care for our extensive garden and potted plants during our overseas holiday.
It would suit a couple or single who would enjoy a holiday in country Queensland for a month. Perhaps you have family nearby and would enjoy living closer to them for while?
The only 'pets' we have at this stage are four productive chickens and some goldfish, and our main reason for requiring a house-sitter is to maintain and water our extensive garden which has a number of timer driven dripper systems for your convenience, but will still need some manual watering. We are in a drought affected area so watering is essential.

This would suit a couple or single who love gardens and growing things as much as we do and who will enjoy being quite self sufficient, harvesting and doing a little weeding. The garden will be in full production for you to eat from
We want to be able to return to a healthy garden.
We operate on a chemical free organic basis with no artificial fertilisers or herbicides

Our home is a 2-3 bedroom Queenslander in a quiet rural area with all services, about an hour from Brisbane.
It is a lovely community with great neighbours for support.
We will be contactable by email during the time we are away for any queries or questions or just to hear how it is going.
The previous owner had pet dogs and the property is secure if you have your own dog.
We would insist that pets do not come inside and would request NO CATS due to our encouragement of a safe environment for local birds
We would also ask that the home be kept as clean and in current order as possible.
We would want to meet our house sitters before departing if possible and also hope you would be of a similar mind to us with minimizing power consumption etc. We have air conditioning in the home for your comfort during hot days. There is gas hot water and cook-top. No microwave or dishwasher currently in the kitchen
