About this house sitting position in Forth
We have the sweetest rescue Greyhound called 'Joey'. He requires a kind sitter with a gentle manner. We took him on from Brightside Animal Sanctuary in Hobart, so he is licensed to walk without a muzzle, but if a sitter feels more comfortable with the muzzle on, he's fine with that too.
He requires patting, talking to, one walk around the block a day and someone who'll go up into our very large garden with him at least 3 times a day so he can have his 'crazy' fun run.
He likes company. He is a very easy dog to care for but he does need a decent amount of company so anyone wanting to sight-see would need to give him the time of day that is his due.
Our sweet cottage is very comfortable but we don't have a television as we do everything, including watch movies, from online. Otherwise we provide a lovely room for the sitter with a near-new double bed and mattress. The room has fantastic views of our valley and river.
We don't eat meat and are much happier with a plant-based sitter and we've had some great people here sitting for us over the years who've had no problem with that.
Our huge garden is wonderful, often sporting a range of organic fruit that the sitter is welcome to.
We keep a clean, cosy home and the neighbourhood is a lovely one. River is at the bottom of the hill, so is the local pub which has live shows and great food and there are lots of cafes and eateries, good shopping etc., within 8 - 20 minutes drive, mountains, beaches galore.
No gardening will be required, so enjoy your stay and the company of our lovely, very easy to be with, pet. Read more...
