We’re situated just outside of the beautiful town of Renmark in SA, on 20 acres of natural scrub. We’re looking for reliable sitters that are travelling with a self contained caravan/motor home to stay and look after our dogs/chooks/turkeys/garden etc and just keep general eye on the place.. while we head off on some short adventures with our two little girls.

We have two big friendly dogs, our 10 year old wolfhound who loves to lay around & soak up the sun while our 1 year old old staghoundX is a lot more energetic and loves to try & steal all the attention! Our wolfhound requires medication added to her food each night but she will just eat it up without a problem.

We also have several chooks & turkeys. They have self feeders & water trough so only really need to cast an eye over the feed/water situation. The chooks are are fantastic layers so the eggs would need collecting, they also love any food scraps!
The turkeys are kept separate from the chooks and they have a large fenced yard. They just do their own thing but might need their feeder topped up once or twice during your stay.

We currently have a veggie garden that has been packed full of summer fruit & veggies! Depending on whether we replant the veggie garden, this may also need a sprinkle of water throughout the week.

We’ve kept the yard fairly simple and don’t have extensive gardens, but the lawn may need the sprinklers turned on a couple times.

Our home was built in 2018 so we are still always creating new projects around the place. There’s plenty of room (flat - lightly gravelled parking space) to park your van with access to rainwater & power. Car parking under our open carport and unlimited Wifi would also be available. We would welcome you to make use of the alfresco area and enjoy a glass of local wine (or beer!) while you cook a bbq. Our outdoor fire pit is also there and wood could be arranged.

Autumn is absolutely beautiful weather here! Being just a 15minute drive out of town, there is plenty to explore in & around Renmark and the greater Riverland region during your stay. Everything from the majestic Murray River, wineries/breweries/distilleries, tracks & trails and historical experiences ..or simply stop home and enjoy the peace & quiet!
