About this house sitting position in Richardson

We have a tidy three bedroom home, although only one room is set up as an actual bedroom (the joys of being empty nesters and having space for hobbies!). The garden is reasonably easy care with only a small, level area requiring mowing in summer, which is probably irrelevant as we are going away in September. We have two cats. Baloo is a skinny black cat who is about 15 (depends which vet is on as to the estimate of age). He loves his comfort and will want to share the bed with you as he feels the cold now. Mia is a smoochy tortie of about 4. She doesn't like to be picked up, but she will come to you for attention and a bit of a snuggle up (but not the lap yet....it will happen eventually). We are seeking a carer who genuinely likes cats and is in a position to ensure that they are indoors by about 5.00pm each night. Like any cats they are always on the wrong side of the door! If you are home be prepared for that:). Neither moggy strays far from home anymore. As far as home maintenance is concerned we are happy if you leave the place as you find it. As previously mentioned there shouldn't be much of anything to do in the garden at this time of the year in Canberra, so it is pretty much keeping up with cat fluff on the floor, and unfortunatly cat vomit does happen, particularly with Baloo as he does get a bit worried when we go away and tends to over groom and gorge biscuits, the results being predictable. Fortunately we have bamboo floors in the main living areas so the clean up isn't too nasty. In reference to the amenities for sitter list below, in the 'streaming Media' category we do have a chromecast dongle on the TV in the family room and the bedroom. The TV in the family room also has an HDMI port if you wisn to run a cable from your lap top to watch other things on the TV screen. Very importantly, we are seeking a non-smoker. Thank you.
