About this house sitting position in Dungog
15 Acre propery, close to a railway station with frequent trains to Dungog and Newcastle.
1 miniature sausage dog that loves company and going for walks.
4 Chickens that lay lovely eggs and needs checking on every day.
4 Horses - mature geldings, very well handled and trained, need checking on every day. They live in the paddock.
Gardening - watering the vegetables and other plants.
3 bedroom farmhouse with heating - cozy fire place, gas heating and air con. Modern extended kitchen and bathroom.
Farm shed with parking and gym. Stand-up swimming pool for the hot summers.
Barrington mountains close-by. Dungog closet town (15 kms) with all amenities - shopping, cinema, pub, post office.
The Dungog Common is also very popular for mountain biking with flow tracks and other cycling/walking tracks.

We were most appreciative of having been left very comprehensive notes and guidelines to feed Mac and Hansie the beautiful horses, as well the delightful chickens and of course Graycie their Daschund. We travel with our dog Lexie and seeing the two of them go bounding off together across the fields was so lovely.
The house sits on land that I would simply call a slice of heaven. We felt very privileged being able to enjoy their private oasis taking in the fresh air, peace and tranquility of it all and only ten minutes from Dungog, a delightful town.
We would be thrilled to sit again no doubt. We are already missing our daily routine and special cuddles with Graycie.
