Hello, we are looking for house/pet sitters to come to our humble abode in Botswana, for 5 weeks starting April 2nd until May 22nd to look after our cat (Mimi), our cottage and our little garden on the edge of the town of Maun in Botswana. Our main reason for having someone stay is to look after Mimi our cat. She is 10 years old and quite fit and healthy, but does like to have someone at home.
Our cottage is quaint by Botswana standards. It has one main bedroom with air con and a smaller room that we use as an office, also with air con. There is a bathroom with shower into the bath, toilet and hand basin. There is an open plan kitchen with sitting room. We have a lovely garden and large deck, where we spend most of our time.
We have wifi and a car available for your use during your stay. We would prefer a couple, or someone over the age of 40 if possible. Our garden is green and the deck is a wonderful place to sit and while away the hours whilst watching the amazing bird life that comes to the garden. If you are a photographer you can get great shots of some of the beautiful birds of Botswana. We don't have television.
Maun is known as the gateway to the Okavango Delta, the 1000th World Heritage Site, and we can make arrangements for you to go on safari before or after our house sit.
