About this house sitting position in Kilcreggan

We are looking for a reliable trustworthy person/couple (ideally NON SMOKERS) to housesit and give us peace of mind when we are away. The ideal candidate(s) will love dogs and understand that in addition to needing fed twice a day and daily walks, our 2 labradors require LOVE and that this may extend to sharing a sofa with them - no beds though as they are not allowed upstairs! We are lucky enough to have large secure grounds for the girls to wander around in and for when, occasionally, "walkies" on the nearby forest path are just not feasible.
The House itself is a traditional detached stone dwelling and is located in a rural setting at the "top" of the village of Kilcreggan. The Views across the sea and surounding coasts and countryside are (we think - judge for yourself!) stunning and on a sunny day, the decking areas outside the house are perfect for a morning coffee/afternoon tea or something stronger. We have broadband (circa 45mbps) and all the normal services including Sky TV. We have a generous off street parking area.
The village of Kilcreggan is served transport wise by a bus (a short easy 5/6 minute walk to the end of the road) going to Helensburgh (train connections to Glasgow and Edinburgh) and a ferry across to Gourock (train connections to Paisley/Glasgow and beyond) The village itself has a small number of shops (PO, chemist, butcher, general store) medical centre and the local pub. It is however a rural community, definitely 'surrounded by nature' and if it is the bright city lights you crave, this is not the place for you. If on the other hand, you love the country life and peace and quiet, this is ideal. Whilst we do have some human neighbours, the main noise is from the nearby stream, cattle and sheep in the surrounding fields!
It is a steep downhill walk to the village and pier and uphill back and for this reason and also to allow you to better explore the surrounding area easier, a car may be an advantage
