Near Brecon, Wales

About this house sitting position in near Brecon

My home is very small, quaint and rustic, situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons.
I'm looking for someone very responsible, who will enjoy spending nearly all their time here, as my dog has separation anxiety which makes it unsafe to leave him for very long.
The scenery is wonderful with several footpaths/walking routes on the doorstep. You can see Pen Y Fan, LLangorse Lake and Talybont Reservoir from the mountain above the house and there is a choice of forestry, moorland, fields and the Brecon-Monmouthshire Canal for walks . (If you are the fell running type-with dog in tow-even better) It's also a great place for an artist/photographer/writer.
My dog is young and energetic. He's not safe near sheep. If you know Wales you will know there is a sheep hidden round every corner so while in your care he must stay on the lead. (It's a long one!) You need to be fit as he needs long walks and the terrain is steep.
There is one mezzanine bedroom. Because of his anxiety I let my dog sleep there too (on his own bed.) He is no trouble but you have to be okay with that. (At least he doesn't fart like his predecessor!)
He is very loveable but not the easiest, so I would like you to do a couple of days' trial before the dates below, at a time to suit you so we can make sure everyone will be happy. My dog has made progress and may be fine by next year- but at the time of writing this his anxiety does mean that your life will be restricted to what you can do with him in tow. On the plus side, he doesn't mind going to the pub! or jumping into a car, bus or train, as long as you don't try and leave him.
I can change my dates to earlier in July if necessary.
