Hi! I'm looking for a catsitter who appreciates the snowy near-north! Oscar is a 14 year old cat who is lively and delightful. Very easy to care for.
The space is a family cottage I currently rent. It's on a lake, tucked way back into the forest, near to Parry Sound. A car is essential as no taxis will come back here in winter. I'm about 20 km from Parry Sound.
Oscar eats from a neverending bowl, so easy to feed. However, he is on a vet diet and therefore needs access to lots of fresh water.
Duties are simple: top up the food, top up the water, scoop litter once/ daily. Don't forget to play, too! All food and litter will be supplied.
Other duties - shoveling if/ as necessary (just to get in and out - I have a snow removal guy who comes for the parking lot)
The space is remarkably peaceful and suitable for an outdoors lover or anyone seeking a winter solitude experience. Bring your snowshoes or cross country skis!
NOTE: There is NO WIFI here. Nor is there a landline or cable television. There is a ton of dvd's and lots of games and puzzles (hey, it's a cottage!) Very much a sanctuary back here :)
Reception is spotty for Rogers' users but I regularly hotspot with Telus and it's great (as in, I work from back here and have no problem!)
