About this house sitting position in Strathbogie
Hi, I am Bridget, an archaeologist living on 3 acres on a creek flat close to Strathbogie. i have chickens, 6 sheep and 2 alpacas. Strathbogie is 535m asl, east of Euroa in NE Victoria, 2 hrs north of Melbourne/ 2hrs south of Albury. My neighbours are very friendly and helpful if you need help.
The chickens have auto water and feeder, the feeder just needs to be topped up with food every now and then, and to be let out in the morning and closed in at night. sheep and alpacas just need water topped up wen low and may need feed every few days .
The toilet is outside the house on verandah.
There is a general store/ PO in Bogie (as we call it!), but I usually do shopping in Euroa (20km away). There is also abundant wildlife here: koalas, wallabies, roos, echidnas and so on. Mobile phone coverage is Telstra and related carriers only. I don't have broadband internet, i just use my mobile data. Excellent reception at my house.
