Seeking a CAT LOVER in particular (and animal lover in general - see below for the list) for short and/or long-term assistance on five acres in rural rolling hills of mid-south TN and additional 12 acres across the street which has access to Buffalo River. I'm 90 miles from Nashville and about 20 minutes between two small towns. The property is on a well maintained state highway so you aren't completely isolated far far into the woods on a random trail. This is an ideal situation for nature and animal lovers but also creatives like artists or writers who may find my artist retreat just the right type of space for you There are 10 cats on mouse patrol (2 on one side of property, some inside outside in the space you'll stay in). Also have 12 chickens, 2 rabbits, 4 miniature donkeys and 2 standards, 2 dogs one is a 3-legged Pyrenees The peace and quiet along with the flora and fauna make it ideal for the right person comfortable with solitude. WiFi is accessible in the house and on the property. If you are a creative or a remote worker that takes your laptop to various house sitting jobs, this could be ideal for you. Your room has a queen size bed and a day bed along with a large ensuite bath with big jacuzzi style tub and walk-in shower. General responsibilities as cat concierge is to let them inside and out, daily feeding, regular cleaning of litter boxes. Daily routine requires walking across the property, possibly lifting of food bags or hay, and other physical tasks like scooping manure for compost. There is a general routine in the morning and then repeat at night. Inside just regular general cleaning as you go. Couples will be considered. As life can throw us lemons or opportunities, I'm having to travel a bit for work so I'm looking for the following;

2. Sept 27 - Oct 7 and Oct . Welcome to stay during and visiting the area, the local harvest festival that weekend, and the long yard sale nearby.
Must have transportation. Be comfortable around cats and other animals especially the donkeys. Prefer non-smoker. Should be able to lift bags of food and containers of litter. Should be okay to walk property daily to check on cats located at both sides of the space and in general keep an eye out on the property. Hoping to find someone who communicates well and is attentive to the animals to notice any changes or basic essentials like simply apply monthly flea treatment when needed, etc.
You can access the Buffalo River from my property on a short walk for swimming, fishing or kayaking. I'm also near the Natchez Trace Parkway and numerous state parks.
