Do you want to make holiday near to the Tripoint (D/NL/B) in change to take care of my house and my animals? I'm looking for someone in the beginning of October (I will be gone myself at the 4th until the 19th ,earlier or later arrival/departure is possible.) I have 3 dogs (2 Border Collies and a Standard Dachshund) and 2 cats (a LaPerm and a Tonkines). My well educated dogs can stay alone time up to 6 hours a day without problems. Veterinarian on distance of 500 m.I live in a quiet location directly at the Brunssumerheide (Brunssum Heath) in Heerlen, Netherlands (running across the street and they are in the Heath). My cosy apartment with balcony is at the ground floor. It has a small garden (which is admittedly not very big).
Heerlen is situated in the South of the Netherlands, the cities of Maastricht (NL), Valkenburg (NL), Liège (B), as well as the German Imperial town of Aachen are nearby. The surrounding area has something to offer for every type of holiday. As above mentioned I live right on the Brunssum Heath - this beautiful natural park is characterised by hills, bogs, forests and many lakes and is ideal for hiking and Nordic walking tours.
Also mountain biking fans would like the 21 kilometre route in the Heath, which is determined by several up and downs. Also not far away is the tourist "Mergelland route" (Chalk land route) which is very popular with cyclists and motor cyclists due to the breathtaking views along the route. This route forms the highest part of the Netherlands and with its hilly landscape its completely atypical for this normaly very flat country. Heerlen itself is a very cultural city with some interesting tourist attractions.
The Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum is situated not far away from my house. Maybe my offer is interesting for family members of soldiers stationed there
