Housesitter(s), no pets, for small cabin on the Skagit River in Concrete, Washington. Dates are fixed, as we have flights booked, from April 30-May 31. Short notice, but it's all the notice we got as well:)
Concrete is a small town 2 hours north of Seattle, 35 miles east of Mount Vernon. The area is very rural, albeit with near neighbors, and very beautiful. The cabin is RIGHT ON the river, and there's a sandy beach just a few minute's walk down the road. Concrete has a great Italian eatery, a gluten-free bakery, and a good Korean fusion restaurant Whatever that means...the bulgogi is delicious.
The property has just been put on the market, so it will need to be kept clean and shown from time to time, hopefully with sufficient notice. This weekend 2 families came by to view, but it could be more or fewer. There's very little public transportation and no Uber/Lyft presence, so either a personal vehicle or the infrequent buses are the options for shopping. Our own car will probably be parked at SEA.
Non-smoker(s), no drugs. Ideal for a writer or other escape artist. No TV, but decent wifi, no land line. We have no cameras or other spying equipment on the property!
