Hello! We are looking for long term house sitters – preferably a non-smoking couple . We have a small, but comfortable home in the Adelaide Hills. The garden will need very little work over that period, providing it rains! You may need your own car, although there is a good bus service into the city of Adelaide.
Our main focus is our two much loved old dogs that need company most of the day, and live inside. We would like a house sitter who is not going out to work each day. One of our dogs is also quite frail, and needs to stay warm and dry. She requires medication twice a day, with quite a strict regime. We will have a vet plan in place so that the house sitter will not have to make any difficult decisions in our absence. The dogs are a border collie and a kelpie x border collie. At this age they don’t have high exercise requirements, but must go for a walk each morning. Our old girl is not fond of children.
If you enjoy living in a beautiful environment, with the occasional koala visiting the garden, and like having dogs to keep you company, this could be the place for you.
