We are 2 guys that moved to Koh Samui from Cape Town (South Africa). We like to travel and require someone to look after our house and babies when we go away.
The space is beautiful as you can see on the pictures. Great view and only 10 minutes from Lamai which is a great tourist area. Koh Samui is a beautiful island which you can easily explore on a bike / scooter. Many close by restaurants - But a car (or scooter which is more common here); will be required. We stay relatively high up so a very steep road to get to the house - Although usually no problem with a strong car or scooter. Our property is in the South and more “rural”. Children are welcome but young children might be a problem as the patio is very high and the rail is open at the bottom - So not safe for toddlers.
We require someone to look after our babies as if they are their own children. We have 2 beautiful Airedale Terriers aged 8 and 7; And a precious little Yorky called Gandhi.
We do have someone that does a quick clean of the house and pool once a week. The garden is ok for short periods so no need to "work" - Just ensure the ponds operate correctly and water certain areas.
We also have an next door. We have a company that cleans the property and manages the pool and garden... Although we would require the house sitter to manage the arrivals / departures while we are away. This will entail:
- Quick check before arrival to ensure everything is ready for the guests.
- Meeting guests on arrival; showing them the property and handing over the keys including some amenities.
- Get the keys back from the guests on departure and do a quick check.
