About this house sitting position in Booval
Circa 1900’s Queenslander with low maintenance gardens and yard. Comfortable home in a quiet area, with local amenities within walking distance or a very short car ride. Home comes complete with our 2 Kelpie x Cattle dogs; Joey and Joy, Duke the Russian Blue cat and a small school of fish. Joey and Joy would be the highest maintenance of the lot, having quite a bit of energy to burn and just love to fetch a ball, they also enjoy their daily walk, but can be a bit full on, so only recommend for those experienced with working dog breeds. Duke and the fish only request that they get fed on a regular basis.
With regard to the house the dogs like to join you inside so there is always some form of dog hair about the house, regardless of how often it’s vacuumed (I have a robotic vacuum run around daily), so that’s an ongoing requirement; that said, they’re quite happy to spend their days outdoors. The lawn grows quite slowly so only requires mowing every 3-4 weeks, subject to rain. There are however plenty of potted roses and orchids on the front deck that love a drink and some occasional attention.
