Our home is in a new and quiet estate adjacent to the golf course. It's just 5 years old with all mod cons. We have Teddy a poodle cross who is used to having a walk in morning; Maisie is a savvy tortoiseshell cat who is very social; and our 3 beautiful chooks who lay an egg almost daily. All food for these pets will be provided along with instructions. Phillip Island is a fun place to explore, we love living here.

Teddy is an 8 year old rescue dog who has recovered well but is still nervous in some situations such as heavy rain on the roof! He has a gentle nature and is very much an inside dog who will sleep on "his" couch and your bed if allowed. He has bedding mats for his use in the house.

Maisie is a very friendly smooch who will greet you with open paws. She is allowed outside during the day but she must be inside at night - Shire regulation. She also has her own beds or may choose to snuggle with you on a cold night.

The chooks: Ginger, Nutmeg & Cassie are all gorgeous girls who will provide you with lovely fresh eggs. They will require their hutch to be cleaned daily and replaced with fresh straw. They have a "barnyard" area that is exclusively theirs but they are allowed to graze in the backyard for a few hours each day.

This is a long petsit and we prefer a couple to apply, however if you think you are right for the position then we'd like to hear from you. We have learned that with a couple, if something needs their attention during the petsit, then one person can stay and continue the petsit while the other person attends to the issue. Someone will need to be in residence for the duration.

There is a small area that will need a couple of mows; that and daily checking the letterbox are the only non-pet activities required. Leaves you plenty of time to explore the Island. If this sounds attractive and you are available, please contact us. Read more...
