The key to this applicant's successful PET-SIT was ...it was ALL about our doggies...and their needs. (Most weren't interested in that.)
Taking them out EVERYDAY in their car to the beach (and more) were the key issues to this housesit.
Sadly....very few applicants were keen on meeting that daily need of our bubbies.
Our babies are rejoicing in the fact we have found the perfect' pet sitter who truly understood their profile...and our babies needs ....on a daily basis. They go out EVERY DAY. ...to the beach..(their favourite) and one or two parks as well. Very few sitters are interested in that much activity re dogs needs.

Looking most likely for a SINGLE lady.. who adores animals. Must be happy to take our little dogs out to parks and the beaches in her own car...or in OUR car as they live for outings to the beach.😊

OUR HOME:
Lovely lakeside 2 b/r home right on the lake in an 'Over 50s' gated Resort (Palm lake Resort) on the outskirts of Yamba. Absolute lake frontage!!! Views of the tidal lake out of every window in lounge kitchen and dining area. No houses on other side of lake. Just beautiful, rural and serene.
A little ONE WAY road between the house and lake so very little 'resort' traffic and quiet😊. Sit on the verandah and watch the fish jump out of the water. The resort is surrounded by water.
Our lake is fed from the mighty Clarence River...we sometimes have dolphins come into the lake and at times they stay in for a couple of days. Great excitement.
Watch the fish leap out of the water all day. Throw in a crab pot. Bring your kayak. Yamba is surrounded by waterways and has 7 amazing beautiful beaches waterways, estuaries, lakes and tributaries everywhere fed by the mighty Clarence River and the sea. Fresh prawns straight from the trawlers.

Whilst rural outlook and on the edge of town Coles and a small shopping Centre only a 2 min drive by car or 5min by bike.
5 min drive into Yamba itself and all the beaches. Take a ferry trip across to Iluka for lunch at the Pub with or without the dogs.

We have 2 SMALL adorable pups....one is a 3 yr old (Pomeranium X) named Skippy (weighs 10kg) and the other one a little Shitzu named Monkey 3 and a half (weighs 7kg). ... Also a beautiful, lazy, very affectionate loving 'boy' cat (10 years old and desexed!) called Sootyboy.
All three are very close and they love each to bits. Our two girls (dogs) are the best of friends and absolutely adore chasing each other and romping at the beach. Take a seat with you and picnic to Pippi beach (off leash beach) and relax.

Our animals are the absolute centre of our world so PLEASE..... only ABSOLUTE cat and dog lovers who truly delight in being around our babies night and day need apply (as opposed to sitters just simply going through the motions of just feeding animals and spending all day away from them. We want and expect you to do fun things with them each day. They are very happy doggies....we delight in them being happy as we are happy and fun loving ourselves. We love seeing the excitement in them. We rarely go on holidays without them...so it is imperative we find someone like us.
We have bikes for your use..(foldup if you want to take the bike into Yamba in your car to ride around) The Resort has a swimming pool and spa, tennis court, (tennis racquets and balls supplied by us, golf practice net and of course fishing. If you have a kayak or small dingy it can be put in water across the road from our place.
A lovely charming 'Off Leash' park WITHIN the resort as well.
Whilst we would want you to enjoy our pups and give them lots outings in either your car OR ours... they are also happy on the verandah or inside when you want to do your own thing too...for a few hours. We have a doggy door so they can go in and out as they please and the verandah has a gate one end so nice and secure for them. We just ask that you aren't gone longer than 3 hours (absolute MAX) on any given day and especially not consecutive days.
There is No gardening to be done.....maybe just occasional watering if no rain for a few days. We have our own letterbox outside the house and that is where our bin is picked up and emptied every week too.
Everyone falls in love with our 'babies'....you will too. They are extremely affectionate and a lot of fun. Monkey the shiatsu is cheeky and funny and Skippy will just gaze adoring at you. Skippy likes to say hello to everyone on the beach and Monkey loves to chase the waves.
We have a huge TV (with foxtel) in loungeroom and a smaller one in bedroom...also with foxtel.
Airconditioning and fans but also a lovely breeze off lake...on verandah. Bbq on verandah.
The dogs love running around off leash on the beach and in parks. They are well trained and obedient. The hotel there (near the lighthouse) has amazing views out to sea so treat yourself to a meal out at lunch time.
Many great places to eat out....some with magnificent views. Great bowling club and Golf Club and a Tavern RIGHT on the Clarence River.
All animal's meals will be packed in pouches stored in the freezer which makes mealtimes SO so easy for you!!
Just get one out of freezer for each animal the night before.
We would like to meet the successful applicant/s BEFOREHAND to confirm we have a perfect match for all concerned...or... stay the night beforehand in the guest room. However you will have OUR bedroom when we go. Deluxe pillow top queensize bed for super comfy sleeps.
Note: MUST be happy with animals on the bed. Please, PLEASE dont apply if you DON'T like little animals on the bed with you. We only have 1 dog on the bed ALL night as she (Skippy) has night blindness. Little Monkey gets too hot on the bed all night..lol.... Sootyboy the cat does love to sleep beside you alot of the night. Please don't apply if you have allergies to cats.
