About this house sitting position in Fitzroy North

We have a 3 bedroom modern home with front and back garden. The master has a queen bed with ensuite. It is a home away from home with a great kitchen, bathroom, laundry, etc. It is a short 5-10 minute walk to 3 shopping areas with cafes, artisan bakers, organic shop, IGAs, Coles and more.

We have 2 gorgeous friendly dogs who need human companionship and like to be walked daily along the numerous bike paths, local streets or parks. They are a cavoodle (DOB 2019) and 1 mid sized labradoodle (DOB 2013). They like their routine of a daily walk, regular meal times, pats whenever they are offered and regular toilet times. They are also quite happy to curl up for a snooze somewhere in your vicinity or if on the couch snuggled into you. There are some dog free rooms and furniture, including the master bedroom.

We are looking for a couple who will be home in the evenings and for periods during the day. We prefer a mature couple who are non-smokers and have a police check or references.

The house is pretty easy to keep clean. There are floor boards in the common areas and hall, while the bedrooms are carpeted. Cleaners come every fortnight. There may be some watering required in hot weather of indoor plants and the back but we have automatic watering in the front. Read more...
