A Bird lover’s paradise, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom dormy Bungalow sitting in nearly 1/2 acre in quiet lane, in rural village on Suffolk/Norfolk boarder set in 1/2 acre. Lots of walks, nature reserves, places of interest. The Fen in our lane is a photographers paradise and is a Site of Scientific Interest. Colours of the trees in this area are stunning this time of year. Quiet relaxing environment.
Knettishall Heath is only a short while away and a walkers paradise. With wild Horses rooming around and lots of wildlife.
We even get regular visits in the garden from Deer, Woodpeckers, Garden birds of all kinds. You can also see the local Buzzards circle above us calling and if you reply to them will circle and come back to you. Bird watches heaven. It’s lovely to sit in the conservatory with a Coffee and see them eating off of our feeding stations.
Our Poultry of Chickens, Ducks, need to be let out, feed and shut up at night everyday. Garden and Greenhouses may need watering depending on time of year. Not arduous. The Fish ponds, Canaries, Budgies aviary,Guinea pigs and indoor pet Cockatiel need to be fed daily. Once done all day is free for your enjoyment. The Cockatiel will keep you amused for hours. He lives in doors with us.
Canaries are in a bird room and Budgies in aviary. Once a day easy feeding.

We also have 5 Guinea pigs, Rosemary, Basil, Sage, Pansy and Tansy. They live in garden run and hutches and are fed when required daily.

Car is essential as no Bus services in village.
Shop, pub, Hair dressers, small cafe on Thurs to Saturday, all in the village 10 minute walk away.
Bury St Edmunds 30 mins away, Norwich 45 mins away.
Diss 15 mins away, lovely little rural town.
Not far from Norfolk Boards and Norfolk Suffolk coast a hour or so away.

Once the animals are feed in morning there is plenty of free time to enjoy the area.

In summer month sits there will be probably be babie Canaries to see, even see some hatching maybe. No extra care needed as their Parents do all work of looking after them. It’s great to watch them grow so fast. We are a bird lover’s paradise here in a quiet rural country lane.

“We had a lovely time in your warm, comfortable and cosy home and it did not take too long to get the hang of the pet care. Barney was great fun! We also profited from the lovely part of the country where you live and visited Ely, Bury St Edmunds and Norwich, as well as enjoying the Nature Reserve just down the road! Thank you very much for the stay!
all the best to you both Steve and Vicki
